Gosh, I wish I could put this video under a read more, and even more-so, this description attached.
 I feel kind of lame making anime allusions to a real and extremely emotional memory but this clip is really important. When I first watched this episode of Kobato, I was so moved that someone else felt like this. That another child could feel like this. When I watched it, I was 8 years old again, trying to explain to someone how amazing my mom is. I must have cried for hours afterwards.
