christinabee: My dear tumblr friends, Guess what? I got engaged over the weekend! :) He did such a great job with picking out the ring!  That is all.(love,) Christina.  Dear Christina, It seems like just yesterday, I was sitting by a picture window on the second floor of the Haselwood library. Peering over my book, I caught a glimpse of Paul walking outside with someone I didn’t know. For months, he had been sort of an elusive celebrity in our ongoing Starbucks Summer Series. We hadn’t spoken with him any longer than a few minutes in passing, but something clicked in that moment. It wasn’t more than an hour later that I had found his MySpace and quickly sent you the link, theorizing something along the lines of “You both like MST3K! It was meant to be!” It took all night to work up the courage, but finally at 3:33am, you took a leap of faith. He replied and after that, it was unstoppable. Even one of the worst winter storms couldn’t keep you apart. You talked for hours and hours! Who would have known that DE would be so down to earth? I still remember your first date and remarking that you were so pretty that his eyebrows wouldn’t stop quivering! (It’s true! Even before then, you made him nervous! <3 ) Haha!! I knew that night… that this would be a love that would last. What I didn’t know is just how many lives your love would touch, or how many hearts you would heal. You stayed together through thick and thin, achieving your dreams and going after more together. You taught me the secret of falling in love over and over again. Your love is rare and genuine, like both of you; it’s warm, kind and unconditional. To Paul and Christina, may you always be happy and make beautiful, cherished memories as you take another leap together. Congratulations on your engagement ♥ I am so proud of you both and wish you all the happiness in the world.
