Happy Birthday, I love you.
A few years ago, I met this guy… He was hilarious, friendly, and had the most obnoxious ego that wouldn’t quit. He teased me, but in this knowingly frustrating and flirtatious way. Of course, when I teased back, he’d only try to out do me with his flair for jabs and jokes that always had me laughing. And that’s the thing about him, he always made me laugh with his timing and wit. We hit it off right away and became best friends quickly. And just as quickly, I was falling for his charm… but what was I going to do? Suddenly, it was his birthday and I was away that weekend. So I did what any girl would do… I wished him Happy Birthday. And even if it wasn’t meant in the same way as I felt it, I love you.
(We were both 16 and it felt so right ♥)
A few years later, we celebrated the end of our teenage years together. We had been together through so many different challenges and triumphs. That year, he went away to the University of Washington. He majored in Applied Computational Mathematical Super Duper SmartyPants Science…. and I was hard pressed to even remember what ACMS even stood for—let alone understand it. Although he always tried to be modest, we all knew he was super smart. We had a graduation-birthday party of sorts. All of his gifts were Husky purple. I was so proud of him. I spelled out my joy and pride on a purple card, Happy Birthday, I love you.
(He’s reading my card)
A few years after that, we had a huge group of friends at Blue C Sushi. Just about everyone made an appearance and we had a blast! I remember it was so hard to keep it a secret, especially when so much of it had to be perfectly timed. Like he usually does at most places that serve raw fish, he ordered something cooked. We exchanged gifts and dances and were maybe the loudest guests at the restaurant. I’ll never forget his smile that day. I laughed with him and said, Happy Birthday, I love you.
(We were really annoying and happy)
He’s never lost that teasing side, he’s silly and frustrating and cute. I knew from the first moment we met that he would be important to my life, but I never would have imagined the life we’ve built together. Jon, you are my love, my prince, my happiness and my dream… you are everything to me. Happy Birthday, I love you.
Oh it’s Cosplay Appreciation Day? Well, I must say… this is my favorite cosplayer in the whole world. (Although I love a lot of you, to be sure.)
I really appreciate everything Jon does and contributes to the world, and his Austria cosplay is one of the most wonderful I’ve ever seen. For an ACMS major with a minor in math, he may seem an unlikely candidate for artistic expression aside from writing and beautiful equations; however, cosplay has become one of his most creative ventures and I have to say he does so with effortless eloquence. But maybe I’m completely biased because he’s the love of my life ♥
Happy Megan Day!
I mean I guess it’s tomorrow but its after midnight, and I just can’t wait any more = v =
Isn’t this the loveliest girl you have ever laid eyes on?
For me, October 21 is a day to celebrate the woman who has literally changed my life. I know that I am not the only person on whom Megan has has a profound impact. I talk to them every day. And while I live to show her every day what she means to me, this is just a reminder of how much she means to me.
I know that it might be a little selfish, but today is about you, and all of the things you have done for me, for us, and for the friends and family around us. I don’t know what I would be without you.
Happy birthday, Megan. I love you so much. Thank you for being in my life, for sharing with me all of the good times and the bad. Every year, we are one step closer to achieving our dreams; remember always that at this point, all you have to do is reach up and touch the stars.
Sorry, she’s just so beautiful I can’t help but want to share her with the world!

A Rejected Puppy And An Abandoned Kitten Adopt Each Other
Buttons the puppy was the runt of the litter and was rejected by her mother, but at Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, he found someone who loves him unconditionally: Kitty the kitten. The two were placed together as infants and are now inseparable.
This is adorable. I hope they get adopted together! I have this mental image of when Buttons grows larger he’ll be so pleased. That sibling thing of “HAHA I’m taller than you!” and Kitty will be kind of confused why she’s smaller. Then be like “lol whatever i can sleep on you now stay still mattress bro”
i am crying this is too cute OTL
The Sonnet (exhibited 1839). William Mulready (Irish, 1786-1863). Oil on panel. Victoria and Albert Museum
This was one of Mulready’s most popular works. The young man is courting the girl, and has written a poem for her as a token of his love. A critic observed: ‘The youth is fiddling with his shoe-tie, but casting a upwards sly look, to ascertain what effect his lines produce upon the merry maid who reads them…placing her hand before her lips to suppress her laughter.’
Some of the wedding photos have surfaced… Jon and I actually look like we can dance! ♥
( We’re on the far right. )
I’m sorry about your cup.. so..
I got you a new one..
I hope you like it..
This is the part where I post a picture of Jon’s face after he’s gone to sleep and can’t stop me
I was going to say your boy is gonna get jealous, but then i remembered that your boy IS cillian. (i.e. this joke will never get old.)
Can I just love you forever, Galapyon? Okay? Okay. ♥ (also this is my nickname for you, yep.)
Ironically enough: I never would have known who Cillian Murphy was, he’d be a blip on the radar had it not been for Jon. I didn’t see Batman Begins in theaters, in fact, it wasn’t until a year after it was released that I borrowed a DVD from the library and watched it at home. Jon was excited that I’d finally be watching it and told me over the phone, “Make sure you watch for the villain! He looks a lot like me!” And then did that thing with his voice that sounds like he’s winking (even when you can’t see it.)
Needless to say, it’s literally all his fault.
